Many people think karaoke started in Japan but it was actually an American invention, it was seen by a Japanese businessman who liked it and then developed the concept and it took off.
First Impressions currently carry around 18,000 karaoke tracks so there should be something for everyone and we are always adding more to our collection.
We have everything from recent chart hits to tracks from the 1950s, big band standards and sing-a-long favourites.
Our karaoke song collection spans a wide range of genres so no matter what your musical taste we should have something for you.

We do not use songbooks and request slips anymore. Songbooks with the number of tracks we carry are impractical.
We just invite people to tell us what they would like to sing and check we have it, if we do we add the song and the person to our list of singers.
Our system is fully computerised so checking to see if we have a song is very quick, we can also search by artiste too.
We like to encourage everyone to have a go, if we can, and have always believed in giving all who want it an opportunity to take part.
Our karaoke comes with 2 radio microphones for the singers, the presenter will have their own, which is not for use by anyone else, and we supply a monitor so that the singers can see the words of the song to sing.
We also include lighting with our karaoke rig so as to create the right atmosphere.
We really want to make you the star of the show.
We carry songs by Sunfly, Legends, SBI, Zoom and others. We do not use Sound Choice due to copyright & trademark issues. We only use legitimate tracks from legitimate licensed companies.
We DO NOT stream karaoke tracks from the internet, it is illegal. We support KAPAUK (Karaoke Anti Piracy Agency UK).
All our karaoke shows are up to 3 hours duration up to midnight. Setting up and packing away will take between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 mins either side of the performance.
